The Preferences section of Warez is the main area where you can change the functionality of the software. You can get to it by going to Main -> Prefences on Warez.

General

Language

You can select the language on Warez. Warez currently support 7 languages: English, Russian, Spanish, French, Dutch, German, & 1337. We intend to bring more languages in, and improve the current ones.

Auto start on windows startup

If set as Yes, Warez will automatically load when you start Windows. This is recommended with "Minimize to tray" on Yes, so Warez can instantly load when you want to use it and you will not have to wait to connect to the network because you will already be on.

Auto connect

If this is set to Yes, then when Warez is loaded it will automatically try and connect to the network. If it is set to No, you will have to go to the Main menu and select "Connect" to get connected to the network.

Minimize to tray

When this option is enabled, when clicking the top right X on Warez it will minimize to the System Tray rather than closing the program altogether.

Show splash

Use as default bittorrent client

Associates Warez with .torrent files, and will automatically start downloading when a .torrent file is run.

Use external player

Warez does not use the internal player for opening files. Instead your default external player will be used, such as Windows Media Player.

Personal

Nickname

Changes the user's Screen Name on the network.

Network type

Here you can set your connection speed so it is viewable for others to see.

Show transfer percentage

Block large hints

Display notification when new file arrives

Displays a popup icon above the Tray when a file transfer is completed and plays a sound.

Enable copyright filter

Filters copyrighted material from the search feature on Warez.

Enable adult filter

Filters adult material from the search feature on Warez.

Recently played limit

Sets the Recently Played history limit amount.

Favorites limit

Sets the amount of favorites the user is able to store.

System tray hint transparency value

While downloading files, the user is able to check the status of the transfers by simply hovering over the Warez System Tray Icon. This option sets the transparency for this feature.
